Workout Day One Part One
Starting Weight: 241lbs Current Weight: 232lbs Goal Weight: 140lbs
After a week of only dieting, I started my workout this morning. I couldn’t believe how difficult it was to just briskly walk a third of a mile. My chest was burning, it was hard to breath, my feet hurt and all I wanted to do was stop.
I was so upset with myself. While I’ve never been athletic, I was a dancer in high school and even made the all-state team. Two years ago I was running a mile a day and I was sixty pounds lighter. Now I can barely WALK a third of a mile after doing 20 squats and 30 step ups.
The only thing I’m happy about is I did it. It wasn’t much, but I woke up this morning and I went and I worked out. This afternoon I’ll go and do even more. I need to push myself to be the best I can be. I have the desire to change and that desire is out weighing the fear and the embarrassment.
